So everyone,
Got a K2 meter just to play around with it and I've noticed a few things that should be made a note of:
First, if you're going to buy a K2 meter like the one shown on Ghost Hunters, make sure that you get yours at: http://www.k2emfmeter.com this is the same company that GH has contracted to supply their devices. They honestly do make the best.
If you're going to pick one up, I highly suggest that you do some research first to find the best available product to suit your needs. For this - we chose to go with K2 meters.com (link above) Since we live in the Denver area, testing it out was going to be easy and fun as that there are several places to do that here like: Brown Palace Hotel (built in 1916, the first tallest structure in Denver) the Stanley Hotel (just plain creepy, built in 1904) and Mesa Verde (ancient Native American city, completely deserted for no apparent reason.)
